"Paws 4 Life" Dog Walk | Saturday, September 30 2006
Gilda's Club Delaware Valley, a free cancer support community for anyone affected by cancer is a non profit organization in the Philadelphia area, as well as eastern New Jersey.
On September 30th, 2006 the 8th annual "Paws 4 Life" Dog Walk, a family event, will take place to help raise funds for the organization.

La Marche des 4 pattes - édition 2005
Cette année la marche a eu lieu le dimanche 25 septembre 2005. Nous tenons à remercier nos braves marcheurs! - ils étaient environ 300 !!
La marche empruntait cette année un nouveau parcours : départ du nouveau refuge de la SPCA ; nous avons pris la rue Valcourt Nord, nous sommes passés en face du vieux refuge, De Varennes Est (où nous avons séparé les grands chiens des petits qui ont pris la rue De Villebois Sud pour tourner sur De Varennes Ouest jusqu’au point de départ soit 1 kilomètre) et pour les grands, Gréber Sud, la piste cyclable de La Vérendrye Ouest et enfin Valcourt Nord pour terminer au point de départ sur De Varennes soit 2 kilomètres.

AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day | Saturday, September 16 2006
The American Kennel Club will be holding it's fourth annual AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day on Saturday, September 16, 2006 from 11am-4pm in New York City's Madison Square Park. New York City Dog owners and their canine companions will have access to low-cost micro chipping, "ask the Veterinarian" tables, obedience/agility demonstrations, breed rescue information, police K-9 demonstrations provided by the NYPD and other entertaining and educational activities.

Going to the Dogs Dinner and Race Night | Thursday, September 14 2006
On September 15th, 2006, the national Capital Coalition for People and Dogs is hosting the 1st annual "Going to the Dogs Dinner and Race Night" at the Rideau Carleton Raceway(Ottawa). All proceeds will be divided equally between four important organizations for people and dogs. Canines with a Cause, A Chance Animal Rescue Inc. Aussie Rescue and Placement Helpline(Ontario)and National Capital Coalition for People and Dogs.
The event promises to be a fun filled evening.
